In the year 2000, the world was forever changed by the emergence of the monsters known as "Beasts" and the re-emergence of the magic force known as "Zessain." After years of war and chaos, the world is finally returned to order by the mysterious ancient group of Zessain wielders and beast scientists named "XST." One of their most important members, Act Izanagi, disappears from the group, being announced as executed for performing countless experiments on humans and beasts, creating "Hybrid Beasts." 

In the year 2030, a broadcast plays across Tokyo...

“...Greetings, Japan… XST.”

“My name is Act Izanagi. The one you’ve called the Hybrid Progenitor.”

“The one you were all told was dead.”

“I will be in Shin-Kanto for the next three days.”

“If no one finds me, then I’ll declare this ten-year game of tag over, and blast this region to the ground with my own power.”

“With that said…”

“All you have to do is find me and entertain me.”
